        NPI Project Manager required on a contract basis to join an industry leading engineering and manufacturing business.Have you got experience of working in a fast paced environment leading the execution of NPI projects; establishing project management plans and managing project delivery? If you are seeking an exciting challenge then this is the role for you!As an NPI Project Manager you will manage large NPI projects to ensure they are on time, within budget, and aligned with the product strategy. You will builds relationships with other departments within the NPI program team. Assists in marketing the NPI process to customers. You will also Identify cost containment opportunities. Identify trends and areas of focus for continuous improvement. The position guides and coaches both junior members of the project management team as well as global cross functional areas representatives assigned to the relative NPI program.Responsibilities: Quickly and correctly identify problems, which may not be obvious.Solves problems by determining the best course of action, within departmental guidelines, from many existing solutions.Determine the best way to complete job assignments in order to achieve desired results.Except for the most complex or high impact situations, work is reviewed after completion.Impacts key quality goals including Customer Satisfaction, Continuous Improvement, Timeliness, Accuracy, Efficiency, Cost Savings, Process Quality, etc.The position monitors and reports on key quality measures for the measure(s) stated.Skills, experience & qualifications; The position typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience. Proven project and management job-related experience are required. Ideally you will have a background in automotive or similar manufacturing / engineering environments. The ability to demonstrate initiative and work with diverse groups to reach consensus is required. Communication skills are critical as the incumbent initiates communication with others outside the immediate work group to work on new ideas or to counsel others, etc. The ability to listen to others is important to the job.
