Are you a QA Engineer with OLE experience looking for your next role within the railway environment? Do you come from a Mechanical or an Electrical background? If so read on! Randstad CPE is currently recruiting for a QA Engineer to work with a tier one contractor on a prestigious rail project in London.

The successful candidate will have previous experience on major build/construction projects looking at mechanical or electrical aspects (particularly OLE) and will have a proven track record in quality assurance.

As a QA Engineer you will estimate, plan, and coordinate testing activities. You will also ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in our defect tracking system.

Roles and Responsibilities:



* Attend site inspections and internal surveillances
* Provide feedback to the Quality Manager
* Raise site observations, communicate with design, track the register and ensure their follow up to satisfactory closure
* Review method statements, prepare ITPs and check all quality records
* Track the red lines, as-builds and the register
* Ensure a smooth communication between design, procurement, construction and T&C teams
* Manage subcontractors and their reports

Candidate Requirements:



* Degree Qualified (Mechanical / Electrical)
* Previous QA experience as engineer or manager
* Previous experience in the OHLE environment
* CSCS card
* Previous rail project experience
* PTS
