An exciting opportunity has become available to work in a popular independent day nursery. The nursery are ideally looking for someone to start in August and look forward to welcoming a new member of staff to their already successful team to make it even better.

The nursery has easy access to public transport and free car parking. The nursery is recognised for being energetic and full of life, children are encouraged to embrace there own learning and development in a supportive and safe environment.

Main responsibilities include:

- Assisting in settling children into the daily routine of the nursery.
- Planning and delivering fun and exciting activities.
- Assisting with lunch and snack time.
- Working towards assessing the development of children through observations.
- Each day you will liaise with the team as well as parents, carers and other professionals to ensure the needs of every individual child are being met.
- You will help the children to learn, grow and develop by writing up reports and linking observations to the EYFS Framework.

Requirements of this role:

- Candidates must have a NVQ3/NVQ2 in childcare or equivalent.
- Work a varied shift pattern, totalling 40 hours per week.
- Must have relevant and recent child care experience.
- Be able to provide at least 1 child care reference.
- Relevant knowledge of EYFS England and Wales.
- Eligibility to work in the UK
