    Are you a Team Manager?

    Do you have experience with LAC and Children in our Care Team?

    Randstad are recruiting for a Team Manager to join Blackburn and Darwen Council's Children in our Care and LAC Team. This is a full time role, offering £40 - £45 per hour.

    Responsibilities:

    • You will need to be a highly motivated and enthusiastic manager with good leadership skills, being able to inspire and motivate the team to deliver the highest standards for some of our most vulnerable children.
    • You should have a sound knowledge base of the statutory requirements and departmental policy for children in care of the Local Authority.
    • With managerial and supervisory responsibility, you will be committed to ensuring a consistent service is provided by the team, whilst also taking a proactive approach to change and promoting flexibility within the team at all times.
    • You will ideally have a background with experience in a social care setting. You will be a good communicator with the ability to work effectively in partnership with other agencies and teams.
    • IT skills and experience in the use of the Protocol LCS system would be an advantage but not essential. SWE Social Work Registration is an essential requirement of the post.

    Requirements:

    • Social Work Degree
    • Enhanced DBS
    • Social Work England registered

    Experience:

    • Children
