    Are you a Qualified Social Worker? Yes? Do you have experience leading a team or are you looking for the next step in your career? Yes? Randstad are recruiting for a Team Manager to join Oldham's Adult Social Care Cluster team.

    This is a full time role, offering a fantastic pay rate of £40 per hour.

    Responsibilities:

    • Undertake a wide range of leadership activities such as recruitment, selection, inductions and promoting professional practice.
    • Ensure health and social care tasks are allocated appropriately to members of the team and monitor that the work is completed to expected standards
    • Support the appraisal process with the service manager and ensure training/learning needs are identified and are supported in those needs being met, including those studying for a qualification
    • Conduct formal supervision and professional supervision of social care staff and where agreed of staff of other professions to support them professionally to undertake their caseload of work
    • Ensure staff adhere to the appropriate Practice Standards and the standards and frameworks provided by the professional registration body where applicable (HCPC & NMC).
    • Promote and ensure staff implement required changes and advances in working practices, and engage with new technology and ICT 7 To co-ordinate / manage referrals made to the multi-disciplinary team.
    • Ensure referrals are screened and appropriately allocated within the multi-disciplinary team.
    • Provide advice / expertise on complex assessment and intervention work, including those service users who meet the criteria for continuing health care.
    • Undertake a range of comprehensive care work to individuals with extremely complex and challenging needs. This assessment work requires a highly specialist knowledge base on which to practice.

    Requirements:

    • Enhanced DBS
    • Social Work England registered
    • Social Work Degree

    • Adults
