Are you an experienced Children's Social Worker who is passionate about ensuring the families you work with receive the help they need?

Are you highly motivated, with a strong social care back ground with an awareness and understanding of the complexities of working in a multidisciplinary setting as a Social Worker?

Will you be committed to providing an excellent service to children and their families and be committed to working in partnership to ensure the very best outcomes for children and their families

Randstad are working with our client in Cumbria to support them in finding a Children's Social Worker to support with a project reviewing and assessing current care packages provided within their looked after children, continuing care and SEN teams, this role is a full time position and expected to last around 6 months.

The successful Social Worker will need to have:-



* Previous experience of working as a qualified social worker in Children's Services
* Experience of previously working in a Looked after Children team or Special Educational Needs Team
* Demonstrate ability to develop and sustain effective and appropriate relationships with service users, colleagues and external agencies.
* Evidence of ability to function as a team member and willingness to work co-operatively and flexibly.
* Be a car driver and have access to your own vehicle for visits and assessments

You will be required to evidence your Social Care qualification and HCPC registration
