My client is a Manufacturing and Engineering business based in Belfast. They are now looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team and assist in the quality checking and testing of their products. The ideal candidate will have had experience in a similar position within the Engineering Industry.
Develop audit plans and tools that are used for internal quality certification for both the implementation of ISO9001 or equivalent Quality Management System. Implementation will primarily align with the production system and realize the synergies of the system during the implementation of MQ 12005. Implementation of MQ12005 will also align with the corporate requirements of the successful implementation of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) tools.Work with all employees to improve quality practices in their processes through quality manner such as daily coaching, tracking CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement) projects & Scorecard, providing quality support if any poor results or negative trends occur, developing IQA training programs, providing training courses of quality specifications to employees, conducting internal quality audits, facilitating management reviews, etc.Implement and administrate/ lead the RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) processes by clarifying and verifying all ideas from the RCCA process with related persons and spot check, explain the validation reasons, and encourage all employees to make contributions to achieve zero defect in operationsBe a coordinator between related teams and functions when there are issues or roadblocks during implementing projects and actions generated from the RCCA process and track its implementation progress.
