Hours:



* Monday - Friday, 37.5 HOURS

* 08:00AM - 16:00PM

OR



* 09:00AM - 17:00PM

Pay Rate:



* £17.94 PER HOUR

Requirements:



* Degree or experience in relevant Engineering or Science discipline
* PeX Green Belt or similar problem solving situations
* Quality systems
* Product Knowledge
* Manufacturing knowledge
* Working knowledge of regulatory environment i.e. ISO 13485:2003; 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 14971 and ISO 15197
* Risk Management tools e.g FMEA; SRA; DOE
* Statistics
* Working knowledge of failure investigation
* Meeting Management
* Demonstrated Project Management skills
* Quality Acumen
* Data driven decision making
* Time Management
* Ability to train others
* Proactive approach to issue identification and problem resolution
* Verbal communications
* Negotiation.
* Resilient and ability to work under pressure.
* Trouble shooting and problem-solving skills

Desirable:



* Master's degree in relevant discipline
* ASQ certification or equivalent
* Process/technical Transfer
* Knowledge of diabetes
* Change Management experience
* Lean experience

Job Responsibilities/Duties



* Leads activities within the quality system such as: change control, design control, NC, CAPA and risk management activities.
* Leads supporting projects within own function. Involvement in cross functional or global projects.
* Is recognised as a Subject Matter Expert and functional 'go-to' person for same function.
* Influences business partners & suppliers to ensure product quality and compliance to quality systems
* Understands the breadth of the quality system and how it fits into the wider business perspective.
* Makes decisions based upon data. Understands the balance of day-to-day activities versus big picture. Can assess risk and take action appropriately. Escalates issues as appropriate
* Could have participation in third party inspections/audits
* Work with business partners to implement continuous improvements to product designs and labelling.
* Proactive & forward thinking. Implements continuous improvement activities.
* Identifies opportunities for, and supports activities such as: product improvements, quality metric improvements, root cause analysis, problem solving.
* Knowledgeable in Design Control and post launch product management
* Ability to understand customer needs
* Understands principals of Human Factors engineering and Reliability Engineering

Training will be given to successful candidates. This is a 12 month contract.
