Are you currently looking for your next big opportunity as a Quality Inspector?

Well look no further, as I am currently recruiting for one of the UK's leading housing associations.

This upcoming high profile project, located in Stratford, East London, would be an excellent opportunity to join an organisation that has the largest and most ambitious residential development programme in the sector. It has to be noted that the desired Quality Inspector would be based at Stratford and other sites across North London.

The desired Quality Inspector would need to demonstrate:

* A proven track record within house building, building surveying or construction.
* Able to demonstrate building pathology skills within a 'client side' environment.
* Good understanding of NHBC Standards and of their Build mark Cover.
* A wide experience and understanding of the building industry, including knowledge of materials, trades, methods and legal requirement.
* A good understanding of Design and Build contracting.

* Delivery and action focused, able to identify risks and effective solutions with minimal supervision to ensure delivery in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities for this role include:

* Managing the pre-completion inspections and moving in of our customers and advising on any outstanding works.
* Ensuring that the resolution of latent defects identified within our recently built stock are managed in a

timely manner in order to exposure to additional costs.

* Deliver excellent customer service
* Responsible for ensuring that a consistently high standard of quality control and supervision is maintained for each contract, via site visits,
* Assessing contract implementation with due regard to building and health and safety legislation.
* Monitoring the performance of contractors and consultants on site and to ensure that
* Construction is proceeding in accordance with drawings and specifications.
* Liaising with Consultants and Contractors in order to achieve the required quality standards.

You will need to be computer literate and be able input and retrieve data from computer management systems. This appointment will require a combination of both site and office based activity.
