Due to the recent acquisition of new project schemes for 2021 they are now looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor for their Kent regional offices. The Role:To provide QS support and services across varied tier 1 (nec/jct) projects, ensuring the timely delivery and keeping within budget. Reporting to the commercial Manager. Primary Responsibilities: * Working closely with the contract/project site management teams, to support the delivery.* To measure, price and negotiate, agreeing costs and budgets for variations.* Liaise with stakeholders and Project Managers.* Raising of and resolution of costing queries.* Attend pre-contract meets, liaising with various construction professionals.* Compilation of sub contract orders for approval.* Produce and implement updated procurement schedules.* Site visits for measurement and works completed schedules.* Mentoring and developing junior commercial staff members. An intermediate quantity surveyor is required to join a global and highly respected consultancy in their office in Kent.You will be part of a highly skilled team of QS's and will be given the responsibility to deliver on a number of high-profile projects across the South East. Those with previous experience in a consultancy setting would be ideal however the practice are open to those with different QS experiences.
