Want to work for one of the leading Highways Contractor? Managed a number of packages/projects at one time? Want to progress your career? Then this is for you.
I am currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a number of prestigious projects throughout the City. You will be reporting to the Commercial Manager and based in London, overseeing a number of major packages.


If you have experience working on Highways, Highways Maintnance or Bulk Earthworks projects then you are what I am looking for!

Your key responsibilities will include:



* Assist in preparing subcontract enquiries / quotation comparisons and subcontract documents.
* Assist in the commercial management of subcontractors, including processing payments once authorised by senior management.
* Assist in cost monitoring of site resources.
* Assist in the production of applications for payments in accordance with the conditions of contract.
* Assist in providing commercial advice to the site team by advising and referral to more senior personnel.
* Take part in discussions concerning performance of those elements of a project in which you are involved.

The successful candidate will offer the following:



* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Preferably be from a Highways background
* Experienced in NEC3 contracts
* Been involved in Projects in excess of £5m or Frameworks above £50m
