Are you a permanent Quantity Surveyor who is looking to take the plunge into their first freelance role? Or already freelance but looking for an exciting long-term project?

I'm looking for a driven and eager QS with 4-10 years experience to assist my client, a high-profile utility contractor on an ongoing multimillion-pound project in Central London. This position involves managing packages involving service diversions across gas, water, comms, and M&E.

Rate: £250-380

Roles and responsibilities:



* Commercial reporting
* The preparation of Valuations/Applications for Payment
* The preparation of Cost Reports to the Client
* The preparation and management of subcontract and material procurement schedules
* The administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts
* Contract administration, including change management and maintain associated registers

Candidate Requirements:



* A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or similar / Equivalent HND (not necessary)
* Experience working with a tier 1 contractor
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Working knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts
* Have a very good work ethic and be willing to work hard
