Are you a Quantity Surveyor? Looking for a new role? Have experience with Commercial new builds?

Randstad are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a permanent basis in Plymouth. The client is a progressive and ambitious company, becoming one of the most successful within the UK. They provide national construction and infrastructure services to private and public sector across a comprehensive range of markets. Their aim is to create great results for all involved; the ideal candidate will need to reflect this ethos.

Responsibilities;

- Provide commercial expertise to aid with the delivery of the contracted work by taking the commercial lead in a geographical focused team.

- The provision of accurate and timely commercial reports and advice to the management whilst ensuring the contract achieves the appropriate commercial targets.

The candidate;

- Demonstrates a wealth of knowledge in the main contracting market.

- Experience of working on Educational, Healthcare, Leisure or Defence schemes between £5 and £20 million.

- Experience in a similar role for at least 5 years.

- Degree qualified or equivalent.

- Experience on 2 stage projects preferable and experience managing own projects rather than as part of a larger team.

- Working towards professional membership of an appropriate organisation.

- Detailed knowledge of company management systems including commercial and financial.
