Rail Civil Engineer


Rate- £250-£350

Immediate start

An exciting opportunity has arisen, to join an established, successful and exciting Rail contractor who is looking for an experienced Rail-civil engineer. The successful candidate must be motivated, have a great work ethic and be focused and flexible to work within the Manchester area. They are looking for someone who has previous experience, ideally with experience in civils and essentially from a rail background.

The Contractor:

The Contractor is in the top 10 main contractors in the UK. They work across a wide range of market sectors. Due to an increase in workload, they are currently seeking this position to join their busy site in Manchester.

The current team is made up of a diverse range of highly-skilled and motivated individuals. If you'd like to join and contribute to a hardworking, specialist team then you must have:

* Civil engineering/HND qualification
* Own PPE
* Valid UK driving license
* Knowledge of relevant Rail and health and safety legislation.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


* Provide innovative engineering solutions to a challenging project.
* Progress reporting
* Cost Forecasting for the section of works
* Material procurement approvals
* Provide technical engineering support as a key member of the team
