Are you a meticulous Receptionist\Administrator with an excellent attention to detail? Keen to work in the public sector/local government? We have an exciting opportunity to work within a busy department of a client based within Williamstown Tonypandy. RESPONSIBILITIES:

To play an active role in the Corporate Business Support Unit.

To liaise with site management on day-to-day repairs and associated record keeping.

To liaise with caretaker on daily/weekly tasks e.g. recycling, deliveries, supplies & requesting orders of office consumables.

To keep reception clear of obstructions, up to date in terms of information displayed.

To support site security measures by updating swipe card/key fobs as requested by site management.

To support site management with fire alarm testing and in escorting all registered visitors safely out of the building during any alarm/incident to ensure all visitors have evacuated the building safely.

To meet and greet customers, officers and contractors professionally ensuring appropriate registers/logs are maintained.

To receive and log deliveries and store appropriately pending collections.

To deal with enquiries as far as possible and to agreed processes.

To make referrals to services where necessary.

To maintain site diaries (e.g. Meeting rooms).

To undertake generic business administrative tasks to meet the needs of the service and its customers.

To collate document packs as necessary.

To support other staff by undertaking clerical tasks, and any other reasonable duties associated with the effective day to day running of the section as required;

To successfully complete any training requirements associated with the role.

REQUIREMENTS:

You must have recent experience (more than 1 year) of working within a busy Receptionist role.

You must have excellent administration experience.

You must be willing to take on any task not included above.

You must be available for an immediate start.
