We are partnering with this global PE-backed business in the services industry in their search for a Regional Business Controller looking after EMEA. This is a high-visibility role with great exposure and a good level of autonomy for the successful candidate!
The role will be based in Central London or Norwich, potentially negotiable for remote working for the right person.
What you will do
Reporting directly to the Regional CFO, you will lead and develop the controlling function for EMEA, and ensure strong internal controls are in place and for financial statements to be presented to the senior leadership team in an accurate and timely manner.
You will oversee the full spectrum of finance processes and partner with other regional controllers to implement a standardised and consistent global accounting and compliance processes, drive efficiency and improve existing processes.
As a key point of finance contact for the EMEA region, you will also work collaboratively with Treasury, FP&A, Tax teams, Shared Services and other finance business partners across the business to provide technical accounting inputs and make recommendations to support budgeting and forecasting processes and management reports.
Key skills and experience
- Qualified Accountant (eg. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar qualification)
- Relevant experience in a similar capacity in a regional role (ideally EMEA)
- Prior big 4 audit experience will be a great advantage
- Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, good initiative and excellent interpersonal skills
