A fantastic opportunity for a driven ofsted registered manager looking to support the opening of a new service.

This is a great opportunity for an individual that is looking to progress a fantastic team in Molesey to help children that require emotional and behavioural support. This is a full time Monday - Friday 9-5 position with a salary of £32,000 -£45,000 per annum dependant on experience. This is a chance to join a progress your own team with the opportunity to work for a company that provides support with career progression and training tailored to your needs.

The company are particularly looking for a registered manager with a proven track record that is driven to engage and provide positive support for the young people within the service.

Job Purpose -

* Recruit your own team tailored around the support you would like to provide
* Manage the deputy manager to support the team leaders and residential support workers across the service
* Support children who have emotional behavioural difficulties and encourage their independence.
* Supporting children who may require support around the following: Emotional and behavioural difficulties, Drug and alcohol abuse, Broken families and Challenging behaviour
* Helping to build independence
* Working within a team to build and grow the children to take part in daily tasks
* Building bonds with the children to ensure ongoing, personal quality of provision
* Working with children that have extremely complex and significantly disturbed mental health concerns
* Working alongside the youth justice team
* Experience working with the police and service users with tags

Knowledge -

* Understanding of EBD
* Challenging behaviour
* Safeguarding
* Working with varied ages throughout childhood ranging between 8 - 21
* Health and safety
* Awareness of special complex needs
* Relevant statutory legislation
* Commitment to equal opportunities

Experience -

* Experience with challenging behaviour
* Experience supporting and developing a team
* Working with children that have come from a variety of backgrounds such as: family crisis's, drug and alcohol abuse, broken families, sexual compromising.
* Previous experience with challenging behaviour
* Working within a residential/classroom setting
* This job requires a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
