Responsibilities:Support the Maintenance and Calibration Programs to provide repairs, maintenance and calibration services, right first time, to the Plant.Ongoing review and continuous improvement of Maintenance and Calibration programs, including Predictive Maintenance and spares optimisation.Support Maintenance, Operations and Utilities by providing technical support on equipment and reliability issues, and act as technical backup to Engineering Leads.Develop and revise operational and maintenance procedures to improve effectiveness and achieve excellence.Assist in setting the required maintenance skills, development of training assessments, preparation and delivery of training.Define, design, develop, monitor and refine the preventive/predictive maintenance processes and techniques.Support the development and implementation of an Asset Integrity program as part of our enhanced reliability strategy.Represent the company in outside forums, interface with external Reliability centers of excellence, and share and implement industry best practices to deliver performance improvements and/or cost savings. Establish and monitor the performance of maintenance metrics, investigate variance from targets and implement action items to improve performance and meet reliability & work planning metrics.Lead investigations into reliability problems using a data driven/six sigma approach to analyse performance, develop and implement solutions to reduce costs, improve equipment uptime and the effectiveness of asset maintenance throughout the Site.Streamlining and simplification of existing maintenance activities, and integration of newly installed plant and instrumentation into the Maintenance and Calibration programs.Provide technical support to Engineering Projects to ensure reliability, maintainability & operability of installed equipment. Execution of minor projects.Preparation and execution of Equipment Qualification protocols.Actively support Energy Reduction projects.Ensure equipment is maintained in compliance with all safety, environmental, applicable engineering codes and quality requirements as well as company policies and procedures. Work with and influence other departments and cross-functional teams, Quality and Operations, to investigate and resolve quality and downtime issues, and improve performance.Participate in cross-functional risk assessments, inspections, audits, incident investigations etc. and implement and follow-up related CAPA's.Review service contract scope of works and service reports and identify follow on work.
Education and Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.In depth knowledge of engineering concepts including electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and automated systems.5 years plus experience in engineering.Comprehensive understanding of GMP and the Quality standards required in the API Manufacturing sector.In depth Computerised Maintenance Management System and calibration system experience.
