Are you an experienced Children's Residential Support Worker looking for a challenge in a brand new service?

If the answer is yes, then we need you!

Randstad is looking for support workers to join a new team, in a 1-2-1 service supporting a young person with challenging behaviour.

A successful support worker will be responsible for:
- Working effectively as part of a team
- Supporting service users to engage with their peers
- Working to a '4-on-4-off' rota
- Liaising with the service manager and MDT to provide consistent care
- Supporting an individual with challenging behaviour and childhood trauma issues
- Maintaining a professional manner and working to National Care Standards


To be successful in your application, you will:
- Have previous experience working with challenging behaviour in young people
- Have had CAMHS or equivalent training (desirable)
- Have flexibility in the roles undertaken
- Have strong communication skills
- Be registered under the PVG scheme
- Have a full driving licence (desirable)
- Have obtained an SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent
