Our charitable residential school for young people with learning disabilities in Aylesbury is a fantastic place to start and develop your career. We support up to 30 children in over 5 houses with full care and educational needs and this is a great opportunity to embrace your calling in life. What are your responsibilities?



* Promoting health and well being
* Encouraging independence through life choices and teaching core values
* Safeguard and look after students in all environments in line with their care plans
* Work with medical staff, Physiotherapists, Social Workers towards objectives set out
* Support in personal care needs as outlined in the care plans

What is required?



* Full time availability to do 7am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm shifts including weekend working
* Full DBS check - if you don't have a DBS then you must be willing to undergo one
* Drivers preferred
* You must be hard working, enthusiastic and lively - our children want role models!

If you are excited about this opportunity but are unsure or a bit scared about taking on this responsibility, our training induction and 12 week trial period will give you reassurance that you can try this without feeling worried.

You'll have full support and mentoring from our team of caring and experienced staff so you can maximise the young people's progression in life.

We'll help you, we'll review after 4 and 8 weeks to ensure you are happy - at the end of the day, it's the childrens' happiness that we're here for!
