      We are partnering with a government body based in London searching for a Finance Business Partner to be part of an exciting delivery programme. This will be a 6 month temporary contract, and you can look forward to working in a vibrant , fast paced environment with the opportunity to learn and develop in your role, along with adding value to the project. What you will do Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will develop relationships with programme leaders, senior managers, and directors. You will support operational portfolios from a financial perspective to ensure there is a linkage between the delivery of the programme and a strong financial and delivery plan. You will develop financial plans through precision and ensuring they meet requirements and the business case. You will provide ad-hoc analysis and presentations to support cost reductions, efficiency and decision making. This will include preparing for risk management, spending reviews and business planning processes. You will ensure that investments enable the delivery programme to deliver objectives within budget, on time and adding value. You will identify and apply techniques related to investment appraisals, costs and benefits. You will build commercial awareness of non-financial activities, and provide advice on compliance with policy, standards, accountabilities and control. Key skills and experience A qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent i.e. ACCA; CIPFA; ICAEW; ICAI or ICAS).Strong technical budgeting and accounting skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Strong excel and data presentation skills.Adaptability and flexibility to meet deadlines and managerial requirements.Government sector experience is desirable but not essential.Randstad Financial & Professional encourage applications from individuals of all ages & backgrounds.
