        Mechanical Project EngineerLocation - ThamesPay £50,000 - £55,000 per annum dependent on experienceMechanical Project Engineer's will be needed to work for leading contractors in the water and wastewater industry. Initially involved in the design and procurement of equipment, leading to overseeing the Electrical installation of this project. Previous water experience will be essential for these roles.You will be responsible:Reviewing technical specification (both form internal engineering team and external Client standards) to ensure they meet the project technical and commercial requirementsManaging the supply chain through the procurement, engineering, implementation, commissioning and handover phaseEnsuring review of supplier schedules against the contract Programme, advising the PM of any changes that will affect completionEnsuring production of monthly progress reports from the supply chain, if necessary, facilitating and coordinating progress meetingsManaging/overseeing the production of QA documentation including but not limited to ITPs, check sheet, FAT documentation and O&M'sAdministration of the contract of the supply chain, including use of NEC3 software to notify the supply chain of any potential EWN's, CE's, CI or change in scope.To be considered for this role you should hold an Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent and have a proven track record in a site based or project management role in the water industry.
