Do you have experience with SEMH needs?Are you located in Leicestershire/Market Harborough?We have rewarding opportunities to work as a Behaviour Support Assistant within outstanding schools and Pupil referral units in Leicestershire/Market Harborough. Responsibilities include:Aiding pupils with SEMH needs as effectively as possibleHaving the motivation and enthusiasm to encourage studentsAssisting effectively in difficult situations with the end goal to diffuse crisis statesLiaising with teachers, parents, SENCO and other professionals regarding individual care plansImplementing behaviour management strategiesMonitoring student's responses and actions in order to reward good behaviour and improve negative behaviours.Giving positive encouragement, praise and feedback Essential requirements:Experience working with young people Team Teach trainedComfortability in managing challenging behaviours and confident in your ability to control themA proven track record of improving negative behaviours Ability to engage with, and build rapport with young people Resilience when facing challenges and the ability to remain calm when faced with testing behaviours.
