If so, this position is for you.Randstad Education Chelmsford is working closely with a primary school rated 'good' in their most recent Ofsted inspection. The school is looking to appoint a Year 4 teacher, on a full time basis, from April 2021. This position is permanent, and there is the possibility of an immediate start for the right applicant.The successful candidate will need to:*Demonstrate excellent classroom practice.*Contribute to an engaging, broad and balanced curriculum.*Be able to work as part of a team.*Have high expectations of themselves and the children.*Have the ability to promote excellent progress.*Be resilient, flexible, patient and engaging.As well as these teaching duties, other responsibilities of the role will be to:*Promote the positive ethos and culture of the school to other staff, governors, parents, children and members of the wider community.*Contribute to and support the overall ethos/work/aims of the school.*Comply with, support and promote all school policies and procedures, particularly those relating to child protection, equal opportunities, racial equality, health, safety and security, confidentiality, behaviour and data protection, reporting concerns to the Inclusion Manager.*Be aware of and support pupil differences and ensure that all pupils have equal access to all school opportunities to learn and develop.*Promote the general progress and well being of individual pupils throughout the school, in line with the Healthy Schools standards and action plan and Every Child Matters document.*Provide advice and guidance to pupils and parents on educational, emotional, behavioural and social matters in line with school policies.*Keep records and make reports on the personal and social needs of pupils.*Communicate and co-operate with other agencies to support the educational, development/general progress and well being of individual pupils and to participate in meetings arranged for any purposes described above including IEP Meetings.*Communicate and consult with parents of pupils and provide an accurate written annual report for parents.*Maintain good order and discipline among pupils throughout the school, in line with the Behaviour Policy.*Safeguard every pupil's health, safety and well being in line with school policies.*Participate in staff meetings which relate to the curriculum, administration or organisation of the school, including pastoral arrangements.In return, the school can offer:*Well behaved, enthusiastic children, who are keen to learn.*Commitment to continued professional development at all levels.*A well-resourced, bright and welcoming school with extensive outdoor facilities.If you would like to hear more about this or any other opportunity we are currently working on, please contact Randstad Education on 01245 260100 or send your CV to jake.hancock@randstadeducation.co.uk, thanks!
