A cover supervisor should be able to take charge of a classroom in the absence of the teacher. You will be provided with the work by the school and you will be required to assign this to the pupils whilst maintaining a respectable and enjoyable working environment for both the pupils and yourself.Responsibilities include:- Supervising the pupils within the classroom- Ensuring the safety of pupils- Building relationships with pupils- Maintaining the peace within the classroom- Assigning provided work to pupils- Dealing with any disruptive behaviour- Helping the pupils when needed and to the best of your expertise- Collecting the completed work but NOT required to do any markingRequirements:- Experience working with children or young people in any capacity - None experienced candidates must show initiative and passion to get into education - An enhanced DBS on the online update service or willing to get a new one if required- Graduates welcomed- Sports coaches / dance teachers / tutors preferred- Eligibility to work in the UK- Drivers preferably or access to public transportThis opportunity will be excellent for anyone looking for full time or part time work in Education.
