They have a full order book and are continuing to meet ambitious production targets. The successful candidate will be a qualified mechanical maintenance engineer with strong fault diagnosis and repair skills. Ideally, you will have had experience working in a food or high volume manufacturing environment, though candidates from any background that can demonstrate strong mechanical fault diagnosis and repair skills are encouraged to apply. You should hold some form of qualification coupled with practical experience / demonstrable skills. You will be comfortable working with a range of production / process machinery. Working as part of the day shift engineering team your primary objective will be to ensure maximum machinery uptime, this will be completed mostly by attending breakdowns, fault finding and repairing on a range of machinery/systems including: Silos, Compressors, Chillers, Packaging Machinery, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, conveyors, pumps and more. You will also be involved in project work, which could include, machinery installations, improvements or upgrades, factory relocation and extensions and more.
