      I am currently looking for a Lead Software Tester on a 12 month contract at a rate of £350 per day + £42.24 holiday or £392 per day which includes holiday pay - PAYE.You will be required to be on site in Birmingham 3 days a week and 2 days remote, you will be reporting to Head of Development.The client is a prestigious, world leading educational institution, which provides an exceptionally high level of teaching. The security team is a diverse and close knit bunch and are based in some very plush office space. They have grown over the last year or so and have some lofty growth plans set out for the future. They are looking to have someone in the office two days a week ideally to share ideas on growth and keep the team feeling like a team.Key Responsibilities:Monitoring the SIEM (preferably Splunk or Elastic, but other tools will of course be considered.)Incident response.Updating the cyber security risk register.Vulnerability scanning & fixing vulnerability issues.Penetration testing.Patch management.Experience/Skills required:At least 2 years hands on experience in a similar technical Cyber/IT Security/InfoSec based role (e.g SOC Analyst, Cyber Engineer, SIEM Engineer.)Hands on experience of SIEM monitoring.Solo penetration testing.
