Primarily they will be a point of contact for Drivers at Manchester, and will make operational decisions based on Telemetry information and resources available.They will support the objectives and aims of the central planning function and ensure that the schedules are created and the efficiencies generated are "managed" on site. Paying close attention to delivery requirements, telemetry levels, customer forecasting and service levels will be a pre-requisite.He/she will act as a backup to the Bulk and Bagged Scheduling Team when required and will have a firm understanding of a hands on transport type role. He/she will gain good understanding of the contractor/agency requirements & cost, by collating & inputting daily operational information on to spreadsheets & DIMS (out account tool).Will have awareness over period and weekly spend through sub contractor and agency movement, plus variable and exceptional cost areas.
