Our client in Norwich is looking for a Safety & Compliance Surveyor to join their team

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:



* Ensure compliance with Regulator, Company and Customer requirements.
* Audit programme, ownership of scheduled audits (Performing to required standard, Non-Conformance management and closure within the scheduled time frame).
* Ensure within Base, Line Maintenance & Workshops Maintenance; Authorised and Approved staff meet regulatory requirements.
* Ensure Safety Management System is in compliance.
* Perform incident and accident investigations as required ensuring regulatory compliance standards throughout the process.
* Maintain and promote Safety Reporting.

KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:



* Licensed Engineer (B1 or B2) or Apprentice trained with minimum 4 years' experience working on aircraft. Engineering degree and C licence qualification will be considered. Type trained on aircraft maintained by the client. MEI training, Human Factors Training Course and Part 145 / M training. SMS Training. Health and Safety training would be advantageous. Or equivalent ex-Military experience in line with civilian requirement.
* Detailed Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance requirements for aviation industry. Detailed knowledge of EASA, FAA & other Competent authorities' regulations for which the client holds approval. Audit qualification. Or equivalent ex-Military experience in line with civilian requirement.
* Proven experience within an aircraft maintenance regulatory compliance environment (civilian or military) which includes at least 2 years' recent experience involving review of aircraft / regulation certification relating to M.R.O functions.
