Sales Administrator required on a permanent basis to join an industry leading manufacturing and distribution business.

Do you have a background strategically controlling and coordinating sales orders and parts distribution? Have you got a experience of working in a fast paced manufacturing / logistics environment? If you are seeking an exciting challenge then this is the role for you!

You will have full responsibility for the entire order management process for all dealers and national accounts from receipt of order through to shipment. You will be part of a dedicated, motivated and successful team which offers a dynamic working environment supporting major projects both internally and externally.

Key responsibilities:

* Utilisation of the Company planning system (Oracle) from order entry and booking through to despatch ensuring that each and every order is fully tracked and dealers and customers are kept informed.
* Working with Production Scheduler, Departmental Manager and Production Planning Department to slot orders based upon area knowledge and taking account of overall business and commercial needs.
* Working with Customers, Area Sales Teams, Credit Control and Transport Department to enable built machines to be shipped on a timely and compliant basis.
* Participate in weekly shipping meetings to discuss:
* Monthly shipment targets
* Challenging Area Sales Teams and Production to ensure targets are met
* Communicate with Dealers and Customers to keep them advised of current order book status and machine availability
* Provide regular feedback to Departmental Manager of changing customer conditions to ensure build program matches customer requirements.
* Providing a generalist administrative service within the team and providing cover for colleagues as and when required.
* Timely resolution of order or billing queries and generation of credit note requests, as required.
* Manage and distribute export documentation in line with customer and company requirements.
* Obtain signed confirmation from customer / dealer of machine receipt in a timely manner but no longer than outside of a 3 month window.
* Work with Chamber of Commerce to prepare correct Export documentation eg EUR1,
* Process vehicle registrations through the on-line DVLA system and ordering of number plates for certain key accounts.

Experience required:

* GCSE level education.
* Excellent PC skills particularly Excel, Word, Power point.
* Previous administration experience.
* Working within a fast paced, changing environment.
* Experience of working in a customer facing environment.
* Dealing with issues in a time efficient manner.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills.
* Be able to work to tight deadlines.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Confidence to deal with people internally and externally at all levels.
* Ability to use own initiative.
* Ability to prioritise own work levels.
* Composure whilst working under pressure
* Demonstrate flexibility and adapts to change.
* Works independently and as part of a team.

Desireable experience:

* Advanced Excel course.
* Knowledge of Export documentation.
* Experience with Oracle
* Previously worked within a Customer Service environment.
* Experience of OEM export sales
