Are you looking for part time hours? Have you got experience as account manager?


We are currently recruiting for a part time account manager to work for a family run business near to Shirley/ Solihull.
You will be managing one large customer and 2/3 smaller customers, ensuring that all customer expectations are met, all orders are processed quickly and acting as the main contact between the customer, suppliers and the workshop.


Your Responsibilities:
* Act as the main point of contact with customers, suppliers and internal colleagues by telephone, email or face to face during the whole process
* Manage any account queries, timelines, deliveries etc.
* Sales Order Processing/ Purchase Order Processing
* Monitor supplier pricing changes and act accordingly
* Create appropriate proposals/ tenders quotes when needing - using Microsoft word/ excel etc
* Support the production team with planning - On time, weekly, monthly and daily manufacturing plans
* Co-ordinate productions work flow for all products
* Plan operations to ensure maximum output and minimum downtime - schedule shifts and work centres according to production needs
* Monitor jobs at all time to make sure they will finish on time and within budget
* Manage suppliers and vendors throughout the whole process
* Develop, negotiate and implement purchasing policies, contacts and agreements
* Manage time effectively to ensure legal compliance and achievement of KPI's

Your Skills/ Experience
* At least 3 years experience in a similar role managing 1 or more accounts
* Experience in a manufacturing/ production environment
* Excellent Communication skills to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
* Confidence to push back on suppliers and workshop to make sure works are completed on time and within budget
* Excellent organisation skills
* Good attention to detail

Salary - full time equivalent - up to £22000
