job description

Do you have experience of working within an engineering/manufacturing/building supplies sales team?

Then please apply!

You will be the point of contact for customers, maintaining a high level of customer service at all times.

Duties are but not limited to:



* Answer Customer calls for the UK and respond to emails without fail, be available for Customers to contact.
* Advise Customers on Product Range
* Understand how the Products are used and be able to advise the correct Product for each application, be the "expert".
* Provide datasheets and specific details
* Provide quotations in an accurate and timely manner
* Know when to ask for input or to refer, if a non-standard product/application is required
* Be responsible for own Quote Book and keep up to date at all times with chase dates and all notes relating to the quote / project.
* Become multi-skilled to cover any function / operation carried out in the Sales Office - both for absence/holiday cover and for progression
* To undertake any other reasonable tasks as deemed necessary by the line manager.

The hours of work will be 8:30am - 5pm with a 30 minute lunch break (40 hours paid)

On site parking (free)

Holidays start at 20 days plus the 8 bank holidays rising to 25 + 8 after a year's service
