One of the world's leading business news and information organisations, are now recruiting for an articulate individual to succeed across a dual-role; sales support & customer engagement as well as managing the invitations and logistics of c-suite delegates for exciting and exclusive editorial round table discussions.

The role will be extremely varied and require confidence to speak with c-level executives, manage and organise logistics for attendees, support with monthly communication emails and product support/engagement of clients within the banking and fintech sectors.

The role will offer:

Competitive hourly rate £12/hour + bonuses for securing delegates
Fantastic work hours 9-5pm

The Sales Support and Delegate Liaison Specialist will be split between two core responsibilities:

Round tables

- Manage client / editorial wish-list of attendees and record feedback (reasons for non-attendance where applicable)
- Research and record potential attendees based upon client / editorial criteria
- Invite attendees by telephone and follow-up by email with written invitation (body of which provided by editor)
- Call-back to confirm attendance
- Follow-up with general organisation; dietary requirements / travel (taxi if required) etc
- Send thank you email and send hard-copy of media pack with roundtable write-up

Key skills needed ; organisation / enthusiastic phone manner / objection handling / ability to concisely record key information in database / diarise and ensure follow-up calls / maintain highest levels of business acumen / driven to achieve goals…


Client engagement with media licences:

Sales Support across Corporate Account sales-team; this is a new revenue stream with monthly engagement communications to be sent to trialist-organisations and new Corporate Accounts, via the marketing programme (full training provided). Understanding and contributing towards article selection would be beneficial, as no two engagement campaigns are likely to be the same.

Key skills; organisation / excellent written English / able to learn and adapt to various software platforms

Minimum requirements for the role:

- Must have excellent verbal, written and proof reading skills
- Strong at influencing, persuading and prioritizing
- Confident communicator with commercial acumen / professionalism
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Motivated to support across a range of roles, keen to get stuck in to support the team
- Positive attitude and motivated to develop a career
- Excellent customer services skills
- University degree educated is ideal, but not required
- MUST be available immediately!
