Are you a team supervisor with sales experience keen to take on a new challenge? Are you driven and motivated and ready to share this passion with your team?

We are currently recruiting for a sales supervisor/ new business supervisor to lead a team of 6 sales staff for a client in Coventry. You will be responsible for coaching and mentoring the staff on a day to day basis and all management duties. The team have KPI's which if they meet you can earn an extra 25% on top of your annual salary.

Your Responsibilities would be

* Achieve individual, team and Company Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
* Support the Direct Sales Manager with projects and business initiatives to improve the business and customer journey
* Inspire and motivate team members to perform
* Conduct performance reviews, through one to ones, annual appraisals and team meetings
* Ensure the team activities are effectively time managed to ensure sales results are maximised and targets met
* Managing activity through the CRM system, ensuring tasks are kept up to date
* Developing sales strategies to guarantee success and growth
* Actively work to improve customer retention by effective management of customer migration and customer satisfaction
* Responsibility of all people related issues. This includes absence and attendance management of all staff, disciplinary and grievance management
* Ensure the team is up-to-date with the latest product knowledge/system procedures etc.
* Responsible for identifying training and development needs and organising relevant training and coaching
* Provide weekly/monthly reports for the Direct Sales Manager which measure the success of each campaign

Your Skills/ Experience

* Proven experience of managing a sales team - this could be in a retail environment, as long as you have experience managing staff performance
* Experience of working in a busy telesales environment
* Demonstrate leadership skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* IT skills covering Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
* Knowledge of the hair and beauty industry would be advantageous

Benefits to you

Salary of £20200

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 9.00am - 5.30pm & Friday 9.30am - 5.00pm

Commission structure is up to 25% capped monthly (based on annual salary - paid monthly)
