We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and efficient team player to join our client's Food department. This is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys working in a practical environment and contributing to students' learning and development.
This is a full time position and working hours will be Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

About the School:

As a Food Technician, you will:
- Prepare ingredients, equipment and resources for practical food technology lessons
- Support teachers during lessons, ensuring students have the materials and guidance needed to succeed
- Assist students with practical tasks, promoting safe and hygienic practices
- Maintain and clean equipment, ensuring the kitchen areas meet health and safety standards
- Help manage stock levels, including ordering and organising supplies
- Provide administrative support to the Food Technology department when required

Requirements / Skills:
- Previous experience working in a school Food department
- 2 recent and relevant references
- Managing behaviour of pupils whilst undertaking work to ensure a constructive environment
- Strong classroom management
- Motivated and enthusiastic demeanour
- Be an inspiring and engaging communicator
- Use imagination and innovation to enhance learning experience
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- An enhanced DBS on the update service
