We are currently recruiting science teachers for a number of secondary schools around Cambridge. The schools are looking for Science teachers on to join them on a short/long term basis.
Your responsibilities will include:
You will be part of a committed hard working department and a supportive team. You will be responsible for teaching KS3/KS4 Science.Creating a positive learning environment to promote effective learning within the classroomUsing a variety of teaching strategies to motivate and challenge students, and ensure high levels of interestPreparing and marking set work, including homework, to facilitate pupil developmentIn this role you will need:
Experience teaching physics and/or chemistry to KS4 (GCSE)A willingness to enthuse and encourage students.The ability to stretch and challenge academic students.The ability to manage challenging behaviour.Have a genuine love for teaching your subjectQualifications needed
