A mixed gender 'good' (as rated by Ofsted) public secondary school and sixth form for ages 11-18 is seeking a Science teacher to join their department and become a part of their way of life. The school is within 20 minutes walk of the nearest train station which has excellent connections to Brighton, London and Horsham. It's also easily accessible by car being located close to the M23 and with parking on-site. Your responsibilities will include:

* Preparing lessons in line with the curriculum
* Delivery of Biology, Chemistry and Physics lessons with specialist subject up to key stage 5
* Setting challenging homework which effectively links the lessons
* Marking and providing effective feedback on completed work
* Managing classroom behaviour
* Ensuring the safety and safeguarding of children
* Attendance at school events such as parents evening

Key requirements for the position include:

* A clear and up-to-date enhanced DBS check (we can support you with your application)
* QTS is desirable but not essential, NQT applications are warmly welcomed
* Experience of teaching Physics, Chemistry & Biology
* A degree and a relevant teaching qualification
* Evidence of the right to work in the UK
