    Randstad CPE are currently recruiting for an experienced Section Engineer to assist on tier 1 joint venture on a major project based in West London. The opportunity is permanent, and the project has a number of years worth of work ahead.

    The project will involve utilities and assisting with the Site Engineers to deliver several packages of work; as such, it is essential for potential candidates to have experience working on similar projects previously. Candidates will earn a competitive salary and market-leading package, and also have the opportunity to progress further in their careers!

    Roles and responsibilities:
    Reporting into the Sub Agent

    • Liaising with clients, subcontractors and the design team to ensure the delivery of the construction phase of the project.
    • Preparing and writing method statements, ITP's and risk assessments
    • Site set up and compliance with health and safety, and advising more junior staff
    • Planning and programming of the works 3 weeks ahead
    • Attending, and aiding the Sub Agent in leading weekly progress meetings
    • Management of shift engineers on site and ensuring the progress of the project is in conjunction with plans - and communicating any delays
    • Overseeing Site Engineers setting out and assisting in their development
    • Overseeing utility diversions works and all other relevant activities on site

    Candidate Requirements:

    • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent (HND etc.)
    • Experience working with a recognised tier 1 contractor
    • Heavy civils experience working on utilities projects
