Security Supervisor (Corporate) - Tottenham Court Road, London - Perm - £45,240 - FM service Provider

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional person to join the Security and Operations Team at a prestigious location in Tottenham Court Road, London.

This role will see you supervise a dedicated security team, deploy officers, implement the daily/weekly rota, incident management, deliver daily briefings and supervise control room operations.

* Corporate Security Supervisor
* Basic Salary: £48,240 per annum + Benefits
* Location: Tottenham Court Road, London
* Monday to Friday, 7am-7pm (60 hours per week)

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

* You must be in possession of a Security Industry Authority (SIA) Door Supervision License
* Applicants should have prior supervisory experience
* You will have sound experience of delivering daily briefings and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the Security polices and procedures and ensure daily Operations carried out in conjunction with them.
* You will be able to demonstrate a good technical understanding of the role including supervising the operation of CCTV and access control systems
* You will be experienced in responding to Emergency incidents such as dealing with public disorder and demonstrations, occupations by protesters, suspect items/people, fire evacuations and bomb threats.
* Able to take charge of a situation and give instructions when the need arises, including dealing with front line conflict management situations.
* Experience of conducting searches of people and items using manual and electronic measures.
* Awareness and understanding of health and safety issues and counter terrorism appropriate to the responsibilities of the job.
* IT literate in MS Office products such as Word, Outlook and Excel.

Your role will include:

* Organise, deploy and supervise Security and Operations Officers.
* Ensure that site security is maintained at all times by staffing key points and areas.
* Ensuring the loading bay and post room are staffed as required and goods and services are delivered to customers according to required standards and timescales.
* Ensure Porterage tasks are allocated to the team is completed in line with operational needs and standards.
* Co-ordinate the use of officers and contractors to ensure that all parties co-operate and deliver their work to agreed standards and timescales.
* Prepare and implement the daily and weekend rota to ensure all operational positions are covered and report any unplanned absences.
* Carry out officer briefings at the start or end of shifts, compile written daily operational briefs and the weekend/out-of-hours activities schedule.
* Train officers in the SOPs and control room, post room and loading bay systems and equipment.
* Monitor standards ensuring that officers, work in accordance with the SIA Regulations, SOPs and company policies and code of ethics.
* Supervise the operation of the CCTV system
* Supervise the operation of the access control system
* Participate in off-site security and operations arrangements to support events or special operations, as and when required.
* Control and co-ordinate the first line response in dealing with any incidents and emergencies
* Co-ordinate the production of incident reports and statements ensuring that they are completed to the required format and standard.
