We are looking for enthusiastic special educational needs teaching assistants (SEN TA) to support children on a 1:1 basis that have Social Emotional and Mental Health difficulties to start in an ongoing position in Bradford.

Requirements
- Experience working with children, preferably those with additional needs
- Be comfortable managing children with SEMH needs
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
- Strong work ethic
- Able to adapt to the different needs of each child
- Flexibly adhere to the needs of the pupils in a professional and friendly manner
Responsibilities
- Ensuring pupils stay on task by managing disruptive behaviour
- Providing support to children on a 1 to 1 basis or in a group setting
- Doing interventions and working 1:1 with children
- Assisting the teacher in planning engaging lessons for the class in line with school policies
- Liaising with the class teacher and parents to provide the best support
- Following an individual behavioural plan
- Proving long term solutions to challenging behaviour
Qualifications are not essential but would be desirable.
