Randstad CPE are currently working with a leading facilities management and professional services company to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer who shall look after their large, diverse, blue-chip customer base, from banks and retailers, to hospitals, schools and government contracts.
Responsibilities:PPM and reactive works through using a handheld technology on VRV's, VRF's, split units, pumps and chillers.Ensuring plant/equipment is maintained in accordance with the Planned Preventative Maintenance System.To take a proactive approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary.Conduct appointed tasks ensuring compliance with Company Safety Policy, Procedures, relevant Codes of Practice and Statutory Regulations.Carry out routine planned maintenance work.Work heavily on air handling units Work on a split basis of site and mobile Assist as required in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.Operate as directed with other trades and departments.Train and assist, as directed, other Technicians and colleagues.
Person Specification:Educated to a minimum of City and Guilds (or equivalent) but should preferably have an HNC (or equivalent)F Gas QualificationL8 - Legionella Awareness Knowledge of BMS systemShould have served time as an apprenticeship or followed a recognised formal training programme and completed at least additional experience in a related industry environment.Full driving licenceDBS Enhanced Able to cope under pressure.Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.Ability to diagnose and repair equipment taking a solution focused approach.
