We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, passionate Teaching Assistant to provide learning support to mixed ability students, in a unique and supportive work environment. The school provide a cross-curricular, primary model teaching approach, with an engaging and relevant approach to learning, and are focused on pupil progression, both academically and socially.

Requirements



* Relevant, recent work experience with children
* Experience working with special educational needs
* A calm, patient manner, with excellent relationship building skills
* The ability to communicate effectively with children, staff and parents / carers
* Any sort of relevant child based qualification will be advantageous but not essential
* Team Teach is desirable, but not essential
* Own transport woulds be beneficial

Responsibilities



* Promoting students learning and engagement
* Supporting students with their emotional and behavioural needs
* Working proactively with other team members
* Promoting excellent behaviour management
