Are you a qualified teacher with specialist knowledge in PE and science? Do you have experience teaching SEN students to GSCE level? Are you looking for a full-time role starting from the 23rd of April 2019? If you answered yes, you are the one I am looking for!

I am currently recruiting for a Science and PE teacher with QTS to join a small SEN school in the Dorking area. This secondary school caters for students who have been temporarily excluded from mainstream settings. The students have EBD and general learning difficulties. You will be teaching PE and science on a full-time basis. The school is known for having amazing support from staff and management and all lessons are tailored to every student's individual need.

All applicants for this position must have the following requirements to be considered:
● A Teaching Qualification
● Experience in teaching PE and science at GSCE level
● Experience working with children and young adults with challenging behaviour
● Relevant knowledge of the current national curriculum
● Eligibility to work in the UK
● The ability to deliver a variety of teaching strategies
● A passionate enthusiasm for teaching and learning
● Effective behaviour management and motivation

● To be accountable for leading, managing, developing and teaching science and PE lessons across the school
● To be accountable for students' progress, ensuring that each individual achieves their full potential across all PE and science disciplines
● To ensure that effective strategies are in place to further raise standards of student attainment and achievement
● To oversee the provision of an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for in accordance with the aims of the school and the curricular policies
● To plan and deliver lessons with passion and confidence
