A small and creative school in the Leatherhead area are looking for an experienced PE and Science teacher to teach KS4 up to GCSE level. The role is full-time, beginning the 23rd of April 2019. All applicants for this position must have the following requirements to be considered:
● Teaching Qualification
● Experience in teaching PE and science at GSCE level
● Experience working with children and young adults with challenging behaviour
● Relevant knowledge of the current national curriculum
● Eligibility to work in the UK
● The ability to deliver a variety of teaching strategies
● Enthusiasm for teaching
● Effective behaviour management and motivation strategies

Responsibilities:
* To be accountable for the leading, managing, developing and the teaching of Science and PE across the School.
* To be accountable for student progress so that each individual student achieves their optimum level across all PE and science disciplines and ensuring that effective strategies are in place to further raise standards of student attainment and achievement;
* To ensure the provision of an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students studying all PE and Science disciplines in accordance with the aims of the school and the curricular policies.
