Are you a HLTA looking for your next challenge? Do you have experience working alongside Autism? Are you aware of the CABAS curriculum?

With small classes and specialised teachers and therapy staff, you will work as a team to help students overcome their barriers to learning and implement any strategies or techniques needed to effectively deliver each individual students care plans. In addition, you will receive training whilst you work practically in the classroom to help you gain a Teacher qualification in the CABAS curriculum.

Job responsibilities:
- To shadow the main teacher to fully understand the structure of the classroom
- Work alongside each student to help them overcome any barriers to learning
- Participate in all physical and theoretical activities
- Attend meetings and training sessions each week
- Gain understanding of Autism and Speech and language needs through theoretical practice


Key Skills:
- Have own means of transport (Cannot be accessed by public transport)
- Experience working in SEN Education, nursing or support worker roles
- Understanding of Special educational needs
- Keen to develop skills and understanding of Autism and speech and language needs
