This fantastic opportunity is for a dedicated Teaching assistant to progress towards a Teacher Training qualification in the SEN Sector. You will shadow the main teacher to learn how effect classroom management and lesson plans structure the classroom for all students. In addition, you will attend training sessions each week to help improve your skills and to develop your knowledge of Autism and speech and language needs.

Job responsibilities:
- Attend training sessions on and off site each week
- Shadow main teacher in practical and theoretical sessions
- Work alongside students in one to one and group settings
- Assist Therapy sessions and understand the process
- Motivate students to overcome their barriers to learning


Key Skills:
- Have own means of transport (Essential - as this role cannot be accessed by public services)
- Understanding of Autism and Speech and Language needs
- Experience in SEN Education, Nursing or support worker roles
