School Overview: This is a co-educational school in Indonesia catering for pupils aged 3-16 years old, with a diverse student population of over 15 nationalities. The school follows Montessori for students from ages 3-6, the primary school integrates the Cambridge Primary Curriculum and the inquiry-based International Primary Curriculum (IPC), and the Secondary Students follow the Cambridge International at Key Stage 3 and IGCSE. The school prides itself on having a very low student - teacher ratio, with great facilities for the students to excel in. It is an inclusive, supportive workplace where staff are highly valued and empowered to explore their creativity and impart their unique style and inspiration to the school community. The school is committed to facilitating ongoing professional development.

Regional Overview: Surabaya is Indonesia's second largest city and is often voted the best Indonesian city in which to live. Located at the mouth of the River Mas on the Eastern shores of Northern Java - you will be afforded the opportunity to experience the real Indonesia. It's well known as the shopping destination of choice in Indonesia and there is lots to do. You are also at the gateway to Asia - with Singapore and other Indonesian islands in easy reach.

Requirements: This excellent school are looking for native English speaking teachers with a relevant teaching qualification and at least 5 years of teaching experience. An inquiry approach or UK curriculum experience (to IGCSE level for Secondary roles) is preferred. You should have good interpersonal skills and a willingness to contribute to a growing school. You should be a resilient, internationally minded individual. This opportunity affords you the opportunity to work with some great students and experience the "true" Indonesia. The school prefers applicants with previous international experience as they find that these applicants "settle" in Surabaya more effectively. This is a split role between SEN teaching and primary class teaching, so ideally an SEN teacher with primary class experience.

Salary and Benefits: Monthly salary from US$2800 tax free; Housing (including Fitness and Pool free membership); Flights; Medical
