I am currently looking for an enthusiastic and passionate permanent SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a fantastic school for children with Autism. You will be working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to ensure that the students have access to an interactive and practical curriculum: your aim will be to improve learning and social development. This is a great opportunity to build strong relationships with brilliant young people and work with a supportive and approachable team.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups with pupils
-Providing feedback to the teacher regarding students' progress and development
-Creating a secure and positive classroom environment
-Supervising and monitoring behaviour
-Following the individual learning plans set by the teacher

An ideal candidate may possess the following:
-An ability to build positive and appropriate relationships with students and teachers
-A passion for working with EBD children
-Own means of transport (essential)
-An ability to support the general well-being of students
-Good numeracy and literacy skills
-At least 2 references
