This specialised school occupies a site on the edge of the South Downs with breath taking views over the sea and Shoreham Harbour. The school is a 15 minute walk from the train station.
The role of an SEN teaching assistant is vital in this school and requires a high level of patience, flexibility and the ability to deal with challenges or work under pressure. The children (aged 4 to 16 years) are on the Autistic spectrum which does come with challenges as well as strengths.

Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting students during lessons
Liaise with teacher to make sure lessons runs smoothly
Work in small groups for a more focused approach
Ensure students engage in learning and stay on task during the lesson or activity
