A school near Brighton is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work with children aged 4-16 with a wide range of special educational needs. This will include largely working alongside students with autism and other special needs to enhance and monitor their learning and development. The focus of the role is to build appropriate and trusting relationships with students.

Responsibilities:
Liaise with teacher on students' progress and lesson planning.
Support pupils in accessing the curriculum.
Ability to personalise tasks suited to individual needs.
Provide constructive feedback to students to aid their learning.

Have a basic understanding of child development and learning.
Have the ability to deal with a wide range of triggers to certain situations.
Be able to build appropriate relationships with children.
Create a safe and secure environment for learners.
